2. Try a Pumice Stone
For stubborn stains that won’t budge with baking soda and vinegar, a pumice stone can be an excellent tool. A pumice stone is abrasive enough to remove tough stains but gentle enough not to damage the porcelain surface. Wet the pumice stone and gently rub it on the stained areas of the toilet bowl. Be sure to keep the stone wet to prevent scratching the porcelain. This method works particularly well for mineral deposits and rust stains. After scrubbing, flush the toilet to remove any debris.

If you prefer ready-made solutions, commercial toilet cleaners can be highly effective at brightening the bottom of your toilet. Look for products specifically designed to remove stains and limescale. Many of these cleaners contain powerful ingredients that break down tough stains with minimal scrubbing required. Apply the cleaner according to the manufacturer’s instructions, let it sit for the recommended time, and then scrub the bowl with a toilet brush before flushing. For the best results, choose a cleaner that clings to the sides of the bowl for extended contact with the stains.
